Designed in Germany, made in Italy. Each shoe is handmade in an Italian factory, so minimal differences are possible. Each model is designed by Kathi in Mainz, and the perfect fit was worked on with great attention to detail and a high standard of perfection. Every material and supplier is carefully selected by her.

Note: Leather is a natural material and can therefore show small changes due to tanning. This makes the shoes unique to you. Please note that the leather is tanned in dark colours and that discolouration may occur at the beginning, this is due to the use of leather itself.

Sizes & Fit

To ensure a high-quality and perfect fit for each individual shoe model, all models are manufactured according to UK sizing: women's shoe size 7.5–11 (UK). To give you a good idea of which EU size this corresponds to, the size according to the EU size classification is also provided: women's shoe size 41.5–45/45.5. The sizes correspond to your actual size. However, as every foot and every shoe is individual, you will only find your perfect size by trying them on, feeling them and walking in them.

Wearing Instructions

Kathis has brought the old shoe craft back to life. The No.06 Slingback Ballerinas are mainly made of leather and gradually mold themselves to your foot over time. These shoes thrive on wear and love to be broken in — a pair of full leather shoes requires your time and dedication, warmth and moisture.

Wear your Kathis for one day and then let them rest for two days. In general, to ensure an excellent climate for your feet and your shoes, alternate the shoes you wear every day so the moisture created in the shoe can escape during the rest days.

Care Instructions

Cleaning: Remove coarse dirt with a soft brush or a damp cloth.
Drying: Allow wet shoes to dry at room temperature and stuff them with newspaper.
Care products: Use high-quality leather care products for regular cleaning and care.
Waterproofing: Protect against moisture and stains with a high-quality water-repellent.
Storage: Store the shoes in a cool, dry place, ideally in a shoe box or shoe bag.
Cedar Shoe Trees: Use wooden shoe trees to maintain shape and absorb moisture.
